European Commissioner for Energy confirmed as keynote speaker at the EAGC opening session

Gunther H. Oettinger, European Commissioner for Energy, is confirmed as the keynote speaker in the opening session at the EAGC, 9-10 November 2010, in Berlin. Günther H. Oettinger will present to delegates the pertinent question; “Is our energy future too important to leave to market forces?” James Ball, President Director of Gas Strategies and session chair, will invite fellow panelists Beate Raabe Director of EU Affairs at the International Association of Oil & Gas Producers, and Claire Spottiswoode, Chairman of Gas Strategies and former UK Gas Regulator, to explore the role that regulation and political pressure could have on the future of the European gas industry.
