I am inspired by my father. Ever since I was born-just two days shy of his birthday-I have truly been my father's daughter. I share his passion for art, movies, food, music, humor, and the study of medicine. He is a practicing internist and cardiologist who believes in patient care, especially the importance of a good bedside manner and good listening skills. He instilled in me at an early age the values of diligence and thoroughness in everything I do. He has taught me never to stop learning. He reminds me with his patience and commitment the direct impact we have as physicians on the lives of others. He never tires of the work he does, and his patients and co-workers never cease to make him smile.
