CATHALYTIC REDUCTION OF SULFURIC DIOXIDE: THE EFFECTIVE METHOD FOR RENDERING HARMLESS AND UTILIZATION OF WASTE GASES IN NON-FERROUS METALLURGY

摘要

Thermodynamical and kinetic investigations of the processes of sulfuric gas reduction by methane converted by natural gas and hydrogen are implemented. The technology for processing of concentrated sulfuric gases having approximate composition with roasting gases of autogeneous melting furnaces is proposed. Optimal conditions of reduction processes are determined.
