Global use of technology by BP and Shell underlines Scottish company's world-leading position

Scottish company qedi, a provider of technology and services to the oil and gas industry, has secured global partnership agreements with oil majors, BP and Shell. As a result, the Aberdeen head-quartered firm, which is on target to reach turnover of ￡40 million this year, is predicting a further 40% growth in 2010. Having grown its employee numbers from 100 to 300 in the last four years, qedi is looking to recruit up to 60 additional core staff in the next 12 months.
