A new measuring procedure for measuring flow and quantity of one-phase media by means of orifice measuring devices

Topics of extending use area of orifice flowmeters based on variable flow difference measurement in comparison with the area defined by the Russian State Standard 8.563.1/3—97 are discussed. Ways to extending use area of orifice measuring devices within the limits allowed by the Rule 50-213—80 are proposed, which increase essentially measurement accuracy owing to new measuring procedure, developed by VNIIMS.
