Burdened by debt, Denver’s Resolute En- ergy Corp. (REN) is considering the sale of some of its Permian Basin assets-if the price is right. On Sept. 29, Resolute launched a lim- ited marketing process for a Midland Basin asset in West Texas. The company could gain anywhere between $158- to $237 million from the sale, said Andrew Smith, vice president and senior energy analyst with Global Hunter Securities LLC, in a report.
