A new,patented technology system from DuPont has enabled the manufacture of comfortable ballistic body armour that is at least 25% lighter in weight than conventional all-aramid fabric designs.Vests featuring this new technology - DuPont~(TM) KEVLAR~R Comfort XLT - were on display at the 110th Annual Law Enforcement Exposition of the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP).Two body armour manufacturers -Pacific Safety Products,Inc.and Armor Holdings Products Inc.-have produced vests featuring this new technology.
