National Farm Machinery Show Dazzles Visitors

One of the largest agriculture shows in the U.S. celebrated its 47th year with a record number of attendees and exhibitors. AS far as trade shows go, the annual National Farm Machinery Show (NFMS) would definitely fall under the category of "a big fish." While most ag trade events draw attendee lists in the thousands, the typical NFMS tends to attract 100,000-plus visitors to the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville. For the 2012 show, held in mid-February, 305,512 visitors went to the show, up from 302,424 in 2011. "We continue to strive to make each farm show better than the previous year and with our final numbers and positive feedback from the industry, we have definitely accomplished that," says Harold Workman, president/CEO of the KentuckyState Fair Board.
