摘要

A new route to ferrocene indanone derivatives has been developed via the trinuclearN-heterocyclic carbene palladium(II)-catalyzed carbonylative C-C bond formation. Under a CO atmosphere, usingo-bromoarylferrocene as substrate, this reaction proceeded smoothly to give the desired products in moderate to excellent yields within hours.
