Turkey’s largest integrated steel producer, OYAK Mining Metallurgy Group, an- nounced nine-month fnancial and operating results, which fully refected the generally challenging market environment. The steelmaker managed to offset the lost steel volumes in the domestic market by more active export sales, but lower prices and insuffcient demand in the key consuming sectors continue to weigh on its margin and fnancial position.
