Spanish coils market weakened again in July due to limited buying activity. Buyers kept shunning purchases from foreign suppliers preferring local material.demand for domestic coils was also limited in July on weakening consuming industries. “Nobody wants to make stocks at the moment so we are buying only the volumes that are strictly needed,” a local distributor told Metal Expert. Consequently, local prices declined by EUR 10-20/t over two weeks.
