Uae’s eSi announces new prices for January shipment longs

Strong market fundamentals in the scrap and semis segments triggered a chain reaction in the global market. As a result, Emirates Steel Industries (ESI), the largest steel producer in the UAE, expectedly raised its prices for longs.ESI has increased the prices for January shipment rebar by AED 115/t ($31/t) compared to the previous round of sales. The products are now available at AED 1,900/t ($517/t) EXW or AED 1,913.50/t ($521/t) delivered to Dubai, Metal Expert has learnt. The credit period is 60 days.
