According to the EIA, the national average retail price for regular gasoline was $2.873/gal on May 14, a 2.8￠/gal increase from the May 7 price and hovering at the highest level since Nov. 2014, while RFG's national average was $3.055/gal, a 2.3￠/gal decline on the week. Houston, Texas' $2.609/gal was the lowest price for both regular gasoline and RFG, while San Francisco, California's $3.652/gal was the highest for both grades.
