Buyer's market prods Nigeria,Oman,and Saudi Arabia to lower OSPs

Nigeria National Petroleum Corp.(NNPC)has reduced the official selling prices(OSPs)for a number of its crude grades for May delivery by 47-98￠/bbl from April OSPs.The Nigerian state energy firm cut the May OSPs for its Qua Iboe grade by 82￠/bbl from the April OSP to a $3.92/bbl discount to Brent and for its Fotcados grade by 91￠/bbl from the April OSP to a $3.91/bbl discount to Brent.The May OSPs for NNPC's Bonny Light and Brass River grades were each lowered by 66￠/bbl to $3.95/bbl and 53.82/bbl,respectively,discounts to Dated Brent.NNPC also cut the May OSP for its highly acidic medium-sweet Usan grade by 53￠/bbl to a discount of $4.53/Dbl to Dated Brent.NNPC cut the May OSP for its heavy sweet Eremor grade by $3.53/bbl to a discount of $7.53/bbl to Dated Brent.For its lighter grades NNPC lowered the May OSPs for its Agbami and Akpo grades by $1.30/bbl and $2.38/bbl,respectively,to discounts of $5.30/bol and $6.38/bbl,respectively,to Dated Brent.
