Alliance Tire introduces 10-year farm tire warranty

WAKEFIELD,Mass.-Alliance Tire Americas Inc.(ATA)is increasing the warranty coverage on some of its Alliance-,Galaxy-and Primex-brand radial steel-belted farm tires in North America to as long as 10 years,Alliance said its decision to increase the warranty coverage reflects both the quality of new manufacturing capacities installed over the past few years;as well as process and expertise that has resulted from collaboration with Yokohama Rubber Co.Ltd.,which acquired Alliance Tire in 2017.The warranty in effect for ag tires manufactured before Jan.1 covers Alliance-and Galaxy-brand agricultural tires for up to five years,the company said.The new policy will increase that coverage for tires manufactured or purchased on or after Jan.1 by two to five years,depending on the tire.The 10-year coverage applies to steel-belted radial agricultural tires,ATA said,including all the IV and VF ag tires as well as many of the popular high-speed flotation radials like the 380 and 390.Other ag tires are covered in a similar manner for up to seven years.
