The erosion continues

For the past 10 years, we as independent tire dealers have watched our market share erode to outside forces that are, generally, out of our control. The new car dealerships, big box stores and price clubs all want a piece of our action—and rightly so. Then we have the online "retailers." Unlike everyone else in the tire business, on-, line sellers have no responsibility regarding any part of the tire buying experience other than collecting their profit.
