Domestic market in August would be likely to keep stable tone. There were many electric steelmakers in August,which planned to shut down furnace, and the market was in off-demand season. But the production plan of electricsteelmakers was higher than that of usual year, and it was pointed out in the market that arising of ferrous scrap in themarket declined by heat wave. It was pointed out that the domestic supply and demand balance was difficult to ease. Butthe overseas market was filled with a sentiment of weak tone, and the firmer tone in the domestic market did not intensify.Many suppliers pointed out that the domestic market would hardly change in August.
