There Is A Gap Between Home and Abroad in The Ferrous Scrap Mkt

Some market participants pointed out that there is a gap between home and abroad in the ferrous scrap market. The overseas market bottomed out and rebounded after G20 Osaka Summit 2019, in response to the iron ore rice, which keeps a high price range, and the increase of the Western ferrous scrap price for Turkey. On the other hand, many market participants firmly expected that the domestic ferrous scrap market would keep weak tone before the reducing production period in summer by the electric steelmakers, and the domestic market did not follow the overseas market and there is no sign for bottom out so far.
