Baosteel Raises Plate Price for May Shipments by 80 CNY

According to a source, China's Baoshan Iron & Steel ("Baosteel") reportedly notified on 10 April its customers of its domestic price of steel products for May shipments. So far, it has kept the prices of most products including hot-rolled steel coil (HRC) unchanged. The exceptions are plate and non-oriented electrical steel sheet (NO), the prices of which have been raised by 80 CNY ($12) and by 100 CNY ($15), respectively.
