MOL Signs Long-Term FSRU Charter Deal with Uniper

Japan’s Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL) inked a long-term charter deal for a floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) with German leading gas company Uniper. A large-scale FSRU with a storage capacity of 263,000 cubic meters will be used for Uniper’s offshore LNG terminal project in Wilhelmshaven, northwestern Germany as an LNG receiving and supply facility. The facility will be the first LNG import terminal in Germany.
