Hyundai Steel Procures Russian A3 Scrap at US$ 292 CFR

Hyundai Steel Co., a major steel company in South Korea, procures around 60,000 tons of Russian A3 ferrous scrap by the end of last week. The contract price is US$ 292/ton CFR on A3 basis, and it will be delivered to the company from February to March. Because the offer price of the U.S. ferrous scrap for South Korea remains high, Hyundai Steel hesitated to purchase it, and seems to implement to purchase Russian ferrous scrap.
