Australia’s LNG Export Capacity to be Expanded to 88 Million MT/Year

According to an Australia’s LNG project development report released by Department of Industry, Innovation andScience (DIIS), the country’s LNG export capacity is expected to reach 88 million mt per year by end-2018. Three LNGprojects, “Wheatstone,” “Ichthys,” and “Prelude,” are now being constructed in the country, all of which will commenceoperation within 2018. After that, the country’s LNG production capacity is expected to rise by 12.50 million mt/year.
