EIA Forecasts Henry Hub Gas Price for 2021 to Average $2.54

The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) forecast in the latest short-term Energy Outlook released on 14th that the Henry Hub natural gas price for 2021 would average at $2.54 per MMBtu, up by $0.24 (10.3%) from the previous year. In this first time outlook for the year of 2021, the price is expected to drop for two years in a row on the back of robust production, but then the production will began to drop and the price will rise in 2021 for the first time in three years.
