Kameron Collieries Suspends Operation of Donkin Coal Mine

It was made clear that Kameron Collieries ULC suspended operation of Donkin coal mine, a metallurgical and thermal coal mine in Canada. Donkin coal mine is an underground coal mine in the Sydney Coalfield in the Province of Nova Scotia and stared coal production on 28 February 2017. Kameron Collieries holds a 100% interest in the said coal mine. Kameron Collieries is a subsidiary company of Cline Group LLC, a mining company in the U.S. The type of coal produced at Donkin coal mine is metallurgical coal with low ash and high volatile matter (Ash: 3.0%, S: about 1.65%) and thermal coal with low ash and high calorific value, of which metallurgical coal is exported to Europe, etc. and thermal coal is shipped mainly to the electric power plants within Canada.
