Stanmore Coal Limited, Australia has a plan to expand the production volume of raw coal to 7Mtpa in the nearfuture by way of exploiting multiple new mining areas. At this stage, 5 million tons of saleable coal will be produced.Stanmore Coal is running Isaac Plains Complex (IP Complex) in the Bowen Basin in the State of QLD.At IP Complex, coals are produced at Isaac Plains open-cut coal mine (IP open-cut coal mine) and Isaac PlainsEast open-cut coal mine (IPE open-cut coal mine). The main type of coal produced at all of both coal mines is semi-softcoking coal, of which the coal reserves at IP open-cut coal mine are depleting, and IPE open-cut coal mine is a flagshipcoal mine of IP Complex at the present moment.
