Ban on plastic: NGT seeks status report from Delhi govt.

THE National Green Tribunal recently sought a status report from the Delhi government on its order banning the use of disposable plastic in the national capital. A bench headed by NGT Chairperson Justice Swatanter Kumar asked the city government and Delhi Pollution Control Committee to file a detailed compliance report in this regard before May 19.
