Singapore—Uncertainties on Chinese import restrictions have cast a dark cloud on seaborne thermal coal prices, as more Chinese buyers stayed on the sidelines, sources said Monday. After Fuzhou and Guangzhou customs were said to have implemented import curbs, market sources said several customs have also put in place varying degrees of restrictions.
