European thermal coal market trades rangebound on weak global sentiment

The delivered-Europe thermal coal price continued to move rangebound to end another week marred by bearish sentiment and weak consumer demand, although two spot trades were heard late Friday. A 50,000 mt multi-origin CIF ARA cargo excluding US optionality traded at $58/mt for June delivery, and a 75,000 mt Russian origin cargo traded at $59/mt, also for June.
