The week started off muted with some profit taking Monday in iron ore futures and traders looking for direction, and after a three-day bull run, finished with futures higher on the Singapore Exchange (SGX). Coking coal derivatives saw a quiet week. Ferrous futures looked weaker in general Monday with Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) Rebar and HRC futures down across the board. The most active September iron ore future contract on Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE), closed down CNY 15 ($2.18) from the previous session at CNY 768.5.
