THAILAND DATA: Feb coal imports soar 42% on year to 2.41 mil mt

Hanoi—Thailand imported 2.41 million mt of coal, comprising mainly bituminous, anthracite and other coal, in February, increasing 42.4% year on year, according to data released by the Customs Department on Tuesday. The value of the imports in February was $136.8 million, 33.3% higher than $102.6 million a year ago.
