Asian linear low density polyethylene prices were higher this week due to supply tightness and firmer futures. LDPE rose $24/mt week on week Wednesday to $1,280/mt CFR Far East Asia and $1,303/mt CFR Southeast Asia. The South Asia marker rose $5/mt over the same period to $1,348/mt. Sinopec increased its ex-works price for LLDPE in East China by Yuan 200/mt ($31/mt) last Thursday and by another Yuan 150/mt Wednesday to Yuan 1,0450/mt.
