New York-Crude futures were little changed Tuesday as signs of plentiful global supply helped offset concerns stemming from fighting between the Iraqi army and Kurdish forces in northern Iraq that has reduced crude flows. Early action suggested renewed geopolitical risk in the Middle East that lifted oil prices starting Friday would spill over into Tuesday’s session. But crude futures weren’t able to hold near session highs, and spent most of the day in negative territory.
