NYMEX ULSD crack climbs on seasonal demand

New York-Oil futures fell slightly Tuesday, while the NYMEX ULSd crack spread was higher, reflecting continued concerns over lost supply from Hurricane Harvey heading into the fuel’s peak demand season. The ULSd crack against WTI was around $24.97/b, up 14 cents, in the afternoon. The crack has stabilized to roughly $24.50/b-$25.50/b the last week after nearing $27/b a few times, as recently as September 11.
