Singapore-Potentially tighter supply of gasoline in the Middle East has sent the Singapore 92/95 RON gasoline spread to a record high amid tight supply of octane boosters such as MTBE and high-octane reformates. The FOB Singapore 95/92 RON gasoline spread-which measures the difference between S&P Global Platts’ FOB Singapore 92 RON gasoline and 95 RON gasoline assessments-widened sharply to a record-high $6.24/b at the Asian close Tuesday. The spread was the highest since Platts launched FOB Singapore 95 RON gasoline assessments on June 2, 1993.
