Kansas City Southern boosts products shipments to Mexico

Mexico City-Kansas City Southern moved 6,500 carloads of energy products to Mexico in the 2018 first quarter, up 1,075 carloads from the previous quarter, the company said Friday. KCS’s shipments were split between LPG and motor fuels. The company said it moved 2.32 million barrels (25,800 b/d) of gasoline and diesel in Q1. During a conference call with investors, KCS management declined to give a forecast for how much more fuel it could ship for the remainder of the year.
