Singapore-India’s jet fuel production fell to its lowest level in 31 months in March as domestic demand tanked amid a nationwide pandemic lockdown, prompting refineries to keep run rates low. Jet fuel production fell 10.9% on month to 1.13 million mt in March, Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell data showed, as output fell for the second straight month. Jet fuel production was last lower in August 2017. India imposed a nationwide lockdown in late March in a bid to curb the spread of the coronavirus, which has infected over 56,000 people and claimed over 1,850 lives in the country to date, data from the John Hopkins University showed.
