Hong Kong—The current cost of process- ing concentrate for China’s copper smelting sector stands at around $55-$75/mt, or an average of $65/mt, which is similar to the average processing cost of $65/mt for the whole of 2019, data by China Securities and Jiangxi Copper showed. The average processing cost for the whole of 2018 was $60/mt.
