Mexico sold 77,784 units of new cars in September, up 0.9% from August, but down 22.79% from 100,737 units in September 2019, according to the Mexican Association of Automotive Dealers. “The pace of sales growth in September lowered compared to the previous months after pandemic restrictions were lifted,” Guillermo Rosales, deputy general director of AMDA, said in an Oct. 6 press conference.
