Some sellers of US special high-grade zinc said this week they concluded June deals at slightly firmer premiums, as their steel-mill customers edged closer to full capacity. The Platts assessment for special highgrade zinc was steady July 2 at 7.75 cents/ lb., plus London Metal exchange cash, delivered Midwest, while the assessment for strip jumbos was firm at 8 cents.
