South African gold miner Gold Fields expects its annual production of gold to be between 2.0 million - 2.5 million oz over the next 8-10 years, Scotiabank said in a research note Sept. 22, citing a presentation to investors at the 2020 virtual Denver Gold Forum on Sept. 21. Gold Fields — the world’s seventh-largest gold mining company — said that it has a strong business outside of South Africa with the ability to further increase mine lives at Tarkwa in Ghana, Cerro Corona in Peru and in Australia, Scotiabank analysts said.
