Molybdenum oxide prices ended the week on a stable note in relatively subdued trade Sept. 4. That steadiness came after a week in which prices exhibited a bias to the upside, largely as a result of talk early in the week of potential supply problems. The Platts daily dealer molybdenum oxide assessment range narrowed to $8.15-$8.30/lb from $8.10-$8.30/lb on Sept. 3, while the daily European ferromolybdenum assessment was unchanged at $20.20-$20.40/kg.
