China Shanxi alumina price down Yuan 20 to Yuan 2,600/mt

The Platts China ex-works Shanxi daily spot alumina assessment fell Yuan 20/mt ($2.98) on Thursday to Yuan 2,600/mt full-cash terms, down from Yuan 2,620/mt on Wednesday and the same level on April 4 and Yuan 125/mt a month ago. A Shanxi spot trade for 50,000 mt was heard on Thursday at Yuan 2,650/mt ex-works, cash/credit terms. Another Shanxi spot trade for 100,000 mt was also heard Thursday at Yuan 2,600/mt full-cash terms.
