Ineos Announces €200-Mn Investment To Support European EO Business

Zwijndrecht-Ineos Oxide announced an investment of €200-million into its ethylene oxide (EO) business, with €150-million of that to be spent at its Zwijndrecht site in Antwerp, Belgium. A sixth alkoxylation unit is due to start up in Antwerp at the end of 2018, along with a 2,000 ton expansion of EO storage capacity at the site. The company is also upgrading EO production at Lavera, France, to support Europe's growing EO needs.
