McDermott Awarded FEED Contract For ADNOC's Ruwais ROG Project

Ruwais-Abu Dhabi National Oil Co. (ADNOC) has selected McDermott to provide front-end engineering design (FEED) services for its Refinery Offgases (ROG) project at the Ruwais Refinery in Ruwais, United Arab Emirates (PCN, 25 Feb 2019, p 2). The contract, valued at between $l-million and $50-million, includes evaluation of technology configurations in the concept study phase, and options for the recovery of hydrogen, ethane and sales-grade liquefied petroleum gas or C3 and C4. Work will begin immediately.
