Ineos Phenol Decides to Move Forward With New Cumene Unit in Germany

Marl-Ineos Phenol is proceeding with earlier announced plans to build a world-scale cumene plant within the Chemiepark Marl in Germany (PCN, 14 May 2018, p 1). The new 750,000-t/y "state-of-the-art" cumene facility "will support customers ambitions and secure the supply of raw material to the Ineos phenol and acetone plants located in Gladbeck [Germany] and Antwerp [Belgium] for decades to come," Ineos noted.
