Sempra LNG, Aramco Services Ink HoA For Off-Take from Port Arthur LNG

Port Arthur-Sempra LNG and Aramco Services Co., subsidiaries of Sempra Energy and Saudi Aramco, respectively, have signed a heads of agreement (HoA) for liquefied natural gas (LNG) off-take from Phase 1 of the proposed Port Arthur LNG project in Port Arthur, Texas. The project is expected to include two liquefaction trains, up to three LNG storage tanks and associated facilities that would enable the export of around 11-million t/y of LNG on a long-term basis. A schedule was not given.
