Evonik Plans Debottlenecking Efforts To Grow Its C4 Production Network

Marl-Evonik said it is investing around €15-million in its C4 production network in Marl, Germany, to increase local production capacity for isobutene derivatives by over 50%. The project, which will be achieved through targeted debottlenecking measures, will increase capacity of tert-butanol, di-isobutene and 3,5,5-trimethylhexanal with 96% purity.
