The top 50 global beauty brands is brought to you by SPC and leading brand valuation and strategy consultancy company Brand Finance,which ranks the world’s leading brands based on their brand value.Brand Finance uses the royalty relief method to assess beauty brands’‘brand value’,which calculates what brand owners would have to pay in a fair market transaction to licence various brands.Contributing to the brand value is ‘brand strength’,an index score out of 100 showing the strength of a brand versus its competitors,based on a scorecard of metrics taking into account brand investment,brand equity and brand performance.
