Iron ore shipments from major producers up 16.3% in Sept 20-26 week: cFlow

Singapore—Using S&P Global Platts trade flow software cFlow, Platts assessed iron ore shipped from five major miners, including Rio Tinto, BHP, Vale, Fortescue Metals Group and Roy Hill, as well as from Saldanha port in South Africa. Total exports jumped 16.3% to 26.47 million mt in the Sept. 20-26 week ahead of the Chinese national holidays. It was the highest level since late June. The data should be used as an indication only and may not capture all vessel movements and volumes.
