NLMK sees further iron ore and steel output growth

Russian miner and steelmaker NLMK is planning to further grow its iron ore and steel production over the next four years, CEO Grigory Fedorishin said Monday during a presentation on the company’s strategy for 2019-2022 in London. By 2023, iron ore concentrate production should be 500,000 mt/year higher from improved efficiency, from the base of 17.2 million mt registered in 2018. Another 2.3 million mt of iron ore concentrate will be added through upstream investments.
